OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- John Harbaugh said former Philadelphia Eagles offensive line coach and defensive coordinator Juan Castillo would be a consultant in the next two weeks and will serve next year as the team's running game coordinator.
Castillo and Harbaugh coached together from 1998-2007 as assistants with the Eagles before Harbaugh left to become the Ravens' head coach.
Castillo was fired as the Eagles' defensive coordinator after Week 6 of the 2012 season.

Jim Caldwell will remain the Baltimore Ravens' offensive coordinator next season.
Caldwell moved from quarterbacks coach to offensive coordinator on Dec. 9 after coach Harbaugh fired Cam Cameron.
With Caldwell directing the offense, the Ravens have won three straight playoff games to advance to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 2000 season. This is the first time Caldwell has ever served as an offensive coordinator at any level.
Harbaugh made the announcement Monday, saying Caldwell will be the team's offensive coordinator "hopefully into the foreseeable future."
Bowles named Cardinals' DC
Speaking of former Eagles assistants, Todd Bowles was named the Cardinals' defensive coordinator on Monday.
Bowles spent the past season as the Eagles' secondary coach and defensive coordinator.
Bruce Arians, Arizona's new head coach, first met Bowles while coaching at Temple. Bowles was a team captain of Arians' Owls as a defensive back.
Bowles also has NFL coaching experience with the Jets, Browns, Cowboys and Jets.
