Former Phillies catcher Chris Coste will contribute to Comcast SportsNet's Phillies Pregame Live and Postgame Live this season as an in-studio analyst.
Coste, 38, was a member of the Phillies from 2006-08, and was a part of the World Series-winning team. Though he is recovering from Tommy John surgery, he told North Dakota newspaper The Dickinson Press that he hopes to be 100 percent healthy by June and still wants to play baseball this season.
In 211 games with the Phillies, the veteran catcher had 173 hits, 21 home runs and 90 RBIs.
Coste will join a rotation of analysts that includes Ricky Bottalico and Ben Davis.
