Legendary Eagles linebackercenter Chuck Bednarik has been admitted to a Lehigh Valley hospital with shortness of breath.
Bednarik is sitting up and talking with family. Hes being held overnight for observation.

Bednarik will turn 86 on May 1.
Earning the title of 60-minute man for playing both center and linebacker, Bednarik helped guide the Eagles to a championship in 1960. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1967 and the Eagles retired his No. 60 in 1987.
