Phillies (9-4) vs. Marlins (8-5), 1:35 p.m. WPHL
Starting Pitchers
Phillies: Cole Hamels (1-1, 5.59) bounced back from a rough season debut with seven scoreless innings against the Braves last week. He allowed just five baserunners and struck out eight.

Marlins: Anibal Sanchez (0-1, 6.97) is sporting a WHIP of 2.23 after two starts this season. In his last outing, Sanchez surrendered 13 hits and six earned in 4 23 innings against the Astros.

Previous games
In each of their last four series, the Phils have dropped the opener and proceeded to win the final two contests. They took two out of three games and outscored the Nationals 11-9 in their last series.

The Marlins hit Danys Baez hard enough to overcome a two-run deficit and grab the series opener on Friday. With the victory, they have won three consecutive games.

Head-to-head
The Marlins win on Friday was the first matchup between these clubs this season. Last year, the Phils won 13 of 18 games and outscored the Fish 90-67. Placido Polanco has five hits in 10 at-bats against Sanchez with a double, a triple and a homer.

Against Hamels, Chris Coghlan is 6-for-13 with two doubles, two home runs and four RBIs.

Whos hot?
Jimmy Rollins has a hit in each of the Phils last six games, striking out just once in 26 at-bats over that span.

Over the last week, Logan Morrison has registered a .360 average, including two home runs, four doubles and five RBIs.

Storylines

The Phils and Marlins will give it another shot after Saturday's game was postponed because of rain.

Former Phillie Greg Dobbs weathered a shower of boos in the seventh inning of Fridays game and laced a two-run, go-ahead single off Baez. It is unlikely that the left-handed Dobbs would crack the lineup card against Hamels, but hes off to a fast start -- .444 average with seven RBIsand looks to be like the dangerous pinch hitter of old.
