Starting Pitchers
Phillies:Roy Halladay (5-1, 2.19) - The right-hander has won five of his last six starts, including a 7-3 win over the Nationals on Thursday in which he gave up two runs in seven innings. Halladay pitched a perfect game in Miami last season and is 4-2 with a 2.30 ERA lifetime against the Marlins.

Marlins: Josh Johnson (3-1, 1.68) - The Marlins' ace is coming off by far his worst start of the season. He gave up season highs of five runs, eight hits and four walks in 7 13 innings of Tuesday's 6-3 loss to St. Louis. Entering that game, Johnson had a 0.88 ERA.

Previous games
The Phillies opened the three-game set with a 6-4 win on Monday night. Ross Gload drove in a pair of runs, Joe Blanton pitched five innings for his first win of the season and Vance Worley came up big with three innings of relief.
Head-to-head
The Phillies split a rain-shortened, two-game series with the Marlins last month. The bullpen blew a lead for Roy Oswalt in the opener before the Phils rallied in the second contest behind Ryan Howards go-ahead sac fly in the eighth.

The Phillies have won 18 of their last 21 games in Miami.

Whos hot?
Raul Ibanez has five multi-hit games in his last seven contests, this coming off an 0-for-35 skid. ... Shane Victorino has a 12-game hitting streak. ... Ryan Madson hasn't allowed a run in his last eight appearances and has not given up a home run all season.

For Florida, Gaby Sanchez is 7-for-8 with six RBIs in his last two games. ... Chris Coghlan has four hits and three walks in his last two contests. ... Ex-Phillie Brian Sanches has a 1.53 ERA in 13 appearances out of the Marlins bullpen.

Storylines
The rematch from Halladay's perfect game: Halladay vs. Johnson. Don't forget how well the Marlins' righty pitched that night. All he gave up was an unearned run. ... Sanchez is 5-for-14 with a homer off Halladay, while Omar Infante is just 1-for-12 against him. ... Against Johnson, Howard is 9-for-29 (.310) with two doubles and two home runs. Ibanez, though is just 2-for-14 with five Ks against him.
Sound off
Should Charlie Manuel give Gload more starts in right field, or would he be overmatched defensively out there?
