Michael Vick and his group of fellow skill players were back at it again on Friday.

Vick, along with Eagles teammates Brent Celek, Jeremy Maclin, Jason Avant and Mike Kafka, held an informal workout at Memorial Field in Marlton, N.J. on Friday. Also joining the practice was Vikings running back and Moorestown High School graduate Albert Young.

It was the second day in a row that Vick gathered his teammates in the Philadelphia suburb, and the QB says it served its purpose.

Well, just basically, work on your timing, Vick said. For me, my footworkvisualize some of the things I didnt do well last year and, how can I make them better, and have a chance to just throw those routs each and every day. And, just try to get comfortable. Build that camaraderie with the guys and just try to get back.

Thursday was the first time any of the Eagles had an organized workout during the off-season. The lockout has forced the cancellation of the normally scheduled post-draft minicamps.

Even with the lockout stopping any official team activities, Vick said he thinks hell be OK once regular activities are resumed.

I dont feel like Im losing a lot of valuable ground, he said. I think once we get going, Ill be able to pick things up pretty quickly and digest it, but its a learning process each and every day.

Celek was one of the Birds on hand to catch passes from Vick at the informal workout and was happy to do so.

I think physically, Im in great shape, Celek said. Ive been lifting and running and all that, but getting back on the field, we did it yesterday for the first time, you feel those little muscles that you never use off the field.

Just to be with your teammates in the off-season. You need time away from each other, but to get back together, build that camaraderie again, because I think that helps you go all the way.

While Celek and Vick seem to be enjoying their light workouts, dont expect to see a full-fledged Eagles practice on the artificial turf at the Memorial complex in Marlton.

Celek said that if the team brought out defensive players, the informal workouts might start to get a little too competitive.

What were doing, I like it, and I think the guys like it, Celek said. Were not going to hard, so guys want to keep coming back.
