Phillies centerfielder Shane Victorino went 1 for 3 with a home run and two RBIs Wednesday for Double A Reading, which beat Akron 12-9.

On the disabled list with a strained hamstring, Victorino played all nine innings in centerfield and hit leadoff. He is expected to be activated Friday. Initially he was to complete his rehab assignment Thursday in Reading's game against Akron, which started at 9:30 a.m., but did not play. He finished 1 for 7 in two games for Reading.

Victorino is hitting .284 with six home runs and 19 RBIs this season for the Phillies.
