A record 6,800 fans attended the 22nd annual Phillies Phestival at Citizens Bank Park, raising a total of 893,033 for the ALS Association.

The Phillies partnership with the association began in 1984, and the organization has now raised over 12.7 million for the fight against Lou Gehrig's disease.

Once again our fans have shown tremendous support for the Phillies, but more importantly for the many patients who suffer from this devastating disease, Phillies president David Montgomery said in a statement. The Phillies Phestival is truly a team effort, and thanks to the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of ALS, we know that the monies raised during tonights event will go a long way in providing the much-needed patient care and services.

The 2011 Phillies players and coaches were in attendance along with their wives. The event included 23 autograph stations, three photo booths featuring pitcher Roy Halladay, catcher Carlos Ruiz and manager Charlie Manuel, games and auctions.

The live auction raised 47,750, highlighted by 4,700 for a game-used baseball from Roy Halladay's 2010 NLDS no-hitter, while the silent auction raised 52,562.
