In the surest sign yet that Vance Worley will start for the Phillies on Saturday night, the right-hander will accompany the team to Seattle after Thursdays game against Florida, sources told CSNPhilly.com.

Worley has been the expected starter all along, but the Phils still havent made an official announcement. The Phils would have to make a roster move before activating Worley. They could make that move on Saturday.

Worley has been sharp in his last three starts at Triple A Lehigh Valley. He has allowed just three runs in 19 innings over that span.

Roy Oswalt will start Friday nights game in Seattle against rookie Michael Pineda. Worley lines up to face Mariners ace Felix Hernandez, the 2010 American League Cy Young winner, on Saturday. Cole Hamels will pitch against Jason Vargas in Sundays series finale.
