Flyers' preseason to begin Sept. 20 in Toronto

The Flyers will play six preseason games this fall, starting with a home-and-home series against the Toronto Maple Leafs on consecutive nights.

Toronto hosts the Flyers on Sept. 20 at Air Canada Centre. The next night, the same two clubs are at the Wells Fargo Center.

Its part of four straight nights of play as the Flyers meet the Detroit Red Wings at John Labatt Center in London, Ont., on Sept. 22, then hop on over to the Joe Louis Arena to meet the Red Wings the next night, as well.

Detroit has never played at John Lebatt Center.

Peter Laviolettes club closes out preseason against the Rangers at Wells Fargo on Sept. 26, and then another home-and-home series against New Jersey Sept. 29 (in Philadelphia) and Oct. 1 (in Newark, N.J.).
