Rookie Danny Watkins missed his third day of practice while contract talks between agent Joe Panos and the Eagles remain at a standstill.
Watkins, projected as the Eagles starting right guard, has missed six practices so far. Without OTAs and minicamps, each day of training camp is crucial if hes going to be able to move right into the starting right guard spot by opening day.
Watkins, the 23rd pick in this years draft, is one of 10 first-round picks still unsigned.

According to a league source familiar with the talks, the two sides have agreed on every financial detail of the contract. The impasse is over just one thing -- Panos wants the fourth and final year of the contract fully guaranteed, and the Eagles are offering only the first three years fully guaranteed.
Panos declined to comment on talks, saying he wont talk until the deal is signed. The Eagles dont comment on contract negotiations.
The source said the Eagles have told Panos they wont budge on the final-year guarantee.
Hes got a lot to catch up on, starting left guard Todd Herremans said. Were all learning as a group and coming together, but at the same time were all like rookies (under first-year offensive line coach Howard Mudd). Theres definitely some quality time that hes missing right now.

Herremans said he last spoke with Watkins on Friday.
He definitely wants to be here, he said. Hes stressing out, he wants to be here, but thats the nature of the beast with first-round signings, I guess.
