BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Eagles receiver Jeremy Maclin, who missed the first five days of training camp practice because of an undisclosed illness, arrived in Bethlehem on Tuesday and could be on the practice field as soon as Wednesday.

"Lehigh...glad to be back!" Maclin tweeted Tuesday afternoon

Maclin is known to have dealt with mono in the spring, but its unknown if his absence was related to that.

Maclin, 23, has 125 receptions for 1,726 yards and 14 touchdowns in two seasons since the Eagles drafted him with the 19th pick in 2009. He fell just 36 yards short of his first 1,000-yard season last year.

With Maclin and holding receiver DeSean Jackson both absent so far at Lehigh, the Eagles have been using Jason Avant and Riley Cooper as the starting wide receivers.
