SAN FRANCSICOThe San Francisco Giants asked fans to keep 9-year-old Phillies fan Ryan White in their thoughts before Friday nights game against the Phillies at AT&T Park.

White, of Lower Makefield, Bucks County, was struck by a car in a hit-and-run incident on a downtown San Francisco street after attending Thursday nights Phillies-Giants game. The youngster, a big Phillies fan, is vacationing in San Francisco with his family.

White was listed in critical condition on Friday at San Francisco General Hospital and police had the driver of the hit-and-run vehicle in custody.

Players from both teams autographed items for the young boy and sent them to the hospital. Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins tweeted a message to the youngster saying, Our prayers are with you.

Prior to the singing of the national anthem, the Giants public address announcer asked fans in attendance to keep White in their thoughts.
