The Sixers did what they do last night down in Houston and fell to the rockets to earn their 26th loss in a row, tying the All-Time NBA record for losses in a row.

Brett Brown spoke about the 26-game losing streak all matter-of-factly following the game, even echoing some of the sentiments Andrew put so eloquently yesterday, pointing to the fact that they knew all season long they were doing something radical and they've been very transparent about that.

"The short term pain which we hope is going to produce a long term gain, we think this will fade to a distant memory in September," Brown said.

MCW apparently spoke to the team after the game, letting his guys know that they need to go down swinging each and every single game. It's one of the first times we've heard about MCW stepping into a leadership roll off of the court, and perhaps a decent subplot to this awful, horrible, no good very bad losing streak.

The Sixers will host the Pistons on Saturday night for a chance to get the record all to themselves.
