PHILADELPHIA- (July 1, 2014) – Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network give Sixers fans an inside look into the future of the team with comprehensive coverage of the Philadelphia 76ers off-season developments. The Comcast Network will air three Summer League games, while Dei Lynam sits down with the Sixers’ top draft pick Joel Embiid, and Neil Hartman discusses the team with the GM and coach for “Sixers City.” Comcast SportsNet will have reports in “SportsNet Central” and “Philly Sports Talk,” with extensive coverage online from CSNPhilly’s Insiders and columnists.

Summer League Games
The Comcast Network will air three Sixers Summer League Games live from Orlando, FL. The Sixers take on the Orlando Magic, Oklahoma City Thunder and Houston Rockets. Headlining the Sixers entry in the Orlando Pro Summer League is Nerlens Noel, the sixth overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. The 20-year-old was SEC Defensive Player of the Year, SEC Freshman of the Year and First Team All-SEC in 2012-13. Joining him will be Sixers guard Casper Ware and forward Hollis Thompson, who appeared in 77 games last season while shooting a rookie-best 40.1% from 3-point range.

Danny Pommells hosts Comcast SportsNet’s “Sixers City” special, which looks at the Sixers 2014 draft night moves and what’s ahead for the team in 2014-15. Highlights of the 30-minute program includes Dei Lynam’s exclusive interview with the Sixers’ top pick Joel Embiid in Los Angeles, plus Neil Hartman’s interview with Sixers GM Sam Hinkie and head coach Brett Brown. “Sixers City” debuts on The Comcast Network on Tuesday, July 8 at 9 p.m. and replays on Wednesday, July 9 at 6:30 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet; Thursday, July 10 at 4 p.m. on The Comcast Network; Friday, July 11 at 4:30 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet and Friday, July 11 at 9:30 p.m. on The Comcast Network.
