Comcast SportsNet announces Flyers preseason coverage

Comcast SportsNet, the home of the Philadelphia Flyers, will have complete coverage of the 2015 Flyers Training Camp including three preseason broadcasts, a live taping of “Meet the Flyers,” extensive on-air and online coverage and a Flyers Classic game airing.

Comcast SportsNet’s Emmy-Award winning news team will have extensive daily coverage of the 2015 Flyers Training Camp in the network’s signature news program, “SportsNet Central,” and on The Comcast Network’s new morning sports talk show “Breakfast on Broad.” In addition, Flyers’ players, coaches and front office personnel will join “Philly Sports Talk” to discuss the latest team news throughout the preseason. Fans can interact with every show on Twitter by using the hashtag #FlyersTalk.

Meet The Flyers
“Meet The Flyers” is a one-hour television special on Comcast SportsNet that offers fans a sneak preview of the upcoming season and allows fans to get to know the 2015-16 Philadelphia Flyers. The show will be taped in front of a live studio audience on Saturday, September 19 at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ.

Preseason games
The Comcast Network will air three Flyers preseason games. The schedule is below:

Tuesday, Sept. 22: Flyers vs. Rangers (7 p.m., TCN)
Friday, Sept. 25: Flyers vs. Islanders (7 p.m., TCN)
Wednesday, Sept. 30: Flyers vs. Devils (7 p.m., TCN)

Flyers classic game
As part of Comcast SportsNet’s ongoing Philly Sports Classic series, the network will air a classic Flyers vs. Rangers game from May 20, 1997 featuring Eric Lindros, John LeClair, Wayne Gretzky and Mark Messier. The game will air on Comcast SportsNet on Saturday, September 26 at 1:30 p.m., and on The Comcast Network on Sunday, September 13 at 9 p.m., Thursday, September 17 at 8:30 p.m. and Friday, September 25 at 9:30 p.m.
