From winning a World Series in which he was MVP, to being a three-time All-Star, Cole Hamels has accomplished quite a bit at the major-league level by the age of 30.
But it all started at Single A Lakewood, where Hamels, 19 years old at the time, got his professional baseball career started.
On Monday, the BlueClaws retired Hamels' jersey.
