BRADENTON, Fla. — Phillies outfielder Domonic Brown had an MRI on his sore left Achilles on Friday afternoon, which confirmed tendinitis.

The Phillies say that Brown is day to day but he could miss one week.

Brown left Thursday night’s game against the Yankees in the third inning (he struck out twice in two at-bats) with soreness in the area. He said he’d been bothered by it for a couple of weeks.

“I’m definitely frustrated,” he said after exiting Thursday’s game. “It seemed like we were going in the right direction, but it was grabbing me a little.”
