It doesn't appear that missing out on the playoffs last season had any negative impact on the monetary standing of the Eagles or Phillies.

Both clubs made Forbes' list of the 50 most valuable sports franchises. The Eagles ranked 19th at $1.75 billion, while the Phillies ($1.25 billion) came in tied at No. 42.

The Eagles' one-year change was up 33 percent from 2014. However, the Birds still came in fourth among NFC East teams. The Dallas Cowboys (second/$3.2 billion), Washington Redskins (ninth/$2.4 billion) and New York Giants (12th/$2.1 billion) all ranked high on the list.

The Phillies had a one-year increase of 28 percent, but like the Eagles, they were still under some of their division foes. The New York Mets (32nd/$1.35 billion) and Washington Nationals (41st/$1.28 billion) each came in above the Phils. The Braves were listed at No. 49 with a value of $1.15 billion, while the Miami Marlins failed to make the cut.

The top of the rankings was dominated by soccer. Real Madrid earned the top spot with a $3.26 billion value. Barcelona ($3.16 billion) and Manchester United ($3.1 billion) were rated Nos. 4 and 5, respectively.

The Cowboys and New York Yankees (third/$3.2 billion) rounded out the top five.
