BOX SCORE

MILWAUKEE -- The Phillies’ five-game winning streak ended Friday night as the Milwaukee Brewers came back from four runs down to beat the Phils, 5-4, on an RBI single by Aramis Ramirez in the bottom of the ninth inning.

Ramirez’s hit came against Jeremy Horst with one out.

The Phillies played sloppy ball, making two errors.

Starting pitching report
Cliff Lee worked seven innings and allowed four runs. That was the most runs he’d given up since May 1. Lee did not walk a batter while striking out 19 in his previous two starts. In this one, he walked three and struck out nine. Two of the walks, both leadoff walks, came around to score. Lee left with the game tied at 4-4 after allowing two runs, one unearned, in the bottom of the seventh. He threw 122 pitches.

Brewers right-hander Alfredo Figaro gave up seven hits, including a homer, and four runs over 5 1/3 innings. He struck out six and walked none.

Bullpen report
Horst got a big out, retiring pinch-hitter Jeff Bianchi with a runner on third to end the eighth and keep the game tied at 4-4. He allowed three hits and a run in the ninth.

The Phillies got two men aboard with one out in the top of the eighth. Burke Badenhop came from the bullpen and ended the threat by getting Delmon Young to ground into a double play on the first pitch he threw.

Francisco Rodriguez got the win.

At the plate
The Phillies built a 4-0 lead on RBI singles by Jimmy Rollins and Delmon Young and a two-run homer by Erik Kratz.

Jean Segura tripled in a run against Lee in the seventh and scored the tying run on an errant throw by Freddy Galvis.

Segura reached base on a one-out infield hit in the ninth, went to third on a single by Ryan Braun and scored the winning run on Ramirez's hit.

In the field
Domonic Brown did not play Yuniesky Betancourt’s catchable drive to the left-field wall well in the fourth. It went for an RBI double.

Second baseman Galvis’ throwing error resulted in the Brewers’ scoring the tying run in the bottom of the seventh.

Health check
Chase Utley, on the disabled list with a right oblique strain, will start taking swings in the next few days. He’s making good progress and believes he’ll be able to return to the lineup at mid-month (see story).

Up next
Kyle Kendrick (6-3, 3.12) opposes lefty Tom Gorzelanny (1-0, 2.01) on Saturday night.
