On the night one Phillies pitcher struggled, a former Phillie ace expressed his interest in returning to the club.

Roy Oswalt, who last pitched in 2012 for the Texas Rangers, tweeted through his official website's Twitter account during the Phillies-Mets game that he "would love to come back to Philly, loved my time there, amazing fans."

This came after Roy Halladay labored through four innings against the Mets, surrendering seven earned runs in the Phillies' 7-2 loss (see Instant Replay).

Halladay's ERA ballooned to 14.73 after his second straight poor outing to start 2013.

Oswalt pitched for the Phillies in the second half of 2010 and for a full season in 2011. Oswalt made 35 starts in a Phillies uniform and went 16-11 with a 2.96 ERA. He also made four postseason starts and went 1-2.
