Phillies Focus: Dom Brown talks Eagles, Cowboys

Remember when Dom Brown showed up to the Eagles-Cowboys game at Lincoln Financial Field on Oct. 20 wearing a Cowboys jersey?

As one would expect, Brown's reception from Philly fans was far from civil.

In an interview with Comcast SportsNet's John Clark on "Phillies Focus," Brown said he didn't expect that kind of reaction.

"I knew I was going to have a few people that was going to get on me about it," Brown said, "but I didn't think it was going to be that big.

"Because like I tell a lot of people, I like the Eagles but when you're playing my Cowboys, it's a different story."

Growing up a Cowboys fan, Brown said him wearing a Cowboys jersey to the game wasn't meant to "disrespect the city."

"That's how a lot of people looked at it, like I was disrespecting the Phillies and Philadelphia," Brown said. "And that wasn't the case at all. I was just representing for my football team, that was it. No disrespect."

When presented with a customized No. 9 Dom Brown Eagles jersey, he laughed.

"That's good looking, I like it," Brown said.
