The Phillies and Mets will not play their Wednesday night game scheduled for 7:05.

The Phillies announced early Wednesday afternoon that the game has been cancelled because of rain.

A makeup date has been announced for Monday, June 2 at 7:05. June 2 was originally an off day for both clubs after a four-game series.

In effect, the Phillies and Mets will now play a five-game set from May 29-June 2.

Tickets for Wednesday night's game will be honored on June 2. Tickets can also be exchanged through the Phillies' ticket office for another regular-season game, subject to availability, prior to June 2.
