The Phillies have placed Roy Halladay on the 15-day disabled list with a right latissimus dorsi strain and, according to CSNPhilly.com's Jim Salisbury, is expected to miss six to eight weeks.
Halladay, 4-5 with a 3.98 ERA in 11 starts this season, was removed after throwing only two innings in his last start on Sunday at St. Louis.
The Phils called up catcher Erik Kratz from Triple A Lehigh Valley.
