It's been a frustrating weekend for the Phillies.
After the Phils suffered a sloppy 6-5 loss to the Blue Jays on Saturday, a furious Charlie Manuel blasted his club (see story).
Having lost 11 of their last 14 games, the Phils will try to avoid a sweep by the Jays on Sunday in the finale of a nine-game road trip.
Starting pitchers
Kyle Kendrick (2-6, 5.08 ERA) looks to bounce back from two disappointing outings for the Phils.
The right-hander has allowed 11 runs over 9 23 innings in his past two starts. He lasted just four innings in Tuesday's 11-7 loss to the Twins.
For the Jays, Brett Cecil will make his 2012 debut. The lefty went 4-11 with a 4.73 ERA last season.
Cecil was expected to be part of the Jays' starting rotation but struggled with his control in spring training and started the season in the minors.

Kendrick yielded six runs and eight hits in his last start in Toronto (July 1 of last season). He took a no decision after tossing seven innings.
Cecil has made only one appearance against the Phillies. He allowed seven runs in 4 23 innings of an 11-2 loss in 2010.

Chad Qualls gave up a game-tying RBI double in the eighth inning of Saturday's loss. Qualls has allowed nine of 15 inherited runners to score this season.
