Remember when Washington GM Mike Rizzo called Cole Hamels fake tough after Hamels drilled Nationals rookie Bryce Harper last month?
Well, the expression has made it onto a T-shirt.
The shirts are Phillies red and feature the expression wrapped around an illustration of the Liberty Bell. They appeared in players lockers at Target Field on Tuesday and a number of players wore them under their uniforms in warm-ups.
Sometimes things like this can loosen up a team. The Phils entered the game having lost eight of nine so they were certainly candidates for a little loosening up.
Word is Hunter Pence was the man behind the T-shirts.
