He will replace Joe Savery, who was sent to Triple A after allowing five runs in 2 23 innings in Wednesday nights 11-7 loss to Pittsburgh.Sanches, 33, pitched in 30 games for the Phils in 2006 and 2007. He spent significant time in the majors with Florida the last three seasons before signing a minor-league contract with the Phils over the winter. This will be Sanches second stint with the Phillies this season. He appeared in three games in May and allowed nine hits and five runs in four innings.Sanches is 3-1 with a 2.48 ERA in 21 games at Triple A this season. He has registered 29 strikeouts and walked just five in 32 23 innings. Sanches has been particularly effective this month, allowing just one earned run 10 13 innings.
