ATLANTAOne day after failing to protect a six-run lead, Phillies ace Roy Halladay is not with the club for Thursdays game against Atlanta.

According to sources, Halladay is tending to a personal family issue. Sources say the pitcher is healthy.

Halladay allowed eight runs and 12 hits in Wednesday nights game, a 15-13 loss to the Braves in 11 innings. The righthander let a 6-0 lead get away in the fifth and sixth innings. Halladay labored through those innings and appeared fatigued, but insisted he was fine after the game.

After speaking with reporters after the game, he left the clubhouse with a small suitcase in tow.
