The Phillies have a familiar face back in the lineup on Thursday night.
Jimmy Rollins returned to the team from paternity leave and will bat leadoff as the Phils open a four-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals (see game notes). Rollins missed the Phils series against Washington after his wife gave birth to their first child on Sunday night.
Carlos Ruiz will also be in the lineup back in the cleanup spot. The catcher took a foul ball off the wrist in the series finale against the Nats but remained in the game.
