Everyone has Taney Fever.

Even the Phillies.

Manager Ryne Sandberg wore a Taney Little League cap and jersey to his news conference after Wednesday afternoon's 4-3 win over Seattle.

"Well, obviously it's a big day here in Philadelphia," a smiling Sandberg said. "I feel like we did our part winning game one here. A big game tonight for Taney. We’re all pulling for them."

The Taney Dragons are scheduled to play Las Vegas in a Little League World Series game on Wednesday night in Williamsport.

Sandberg said he was eager to watch the game.

The Phillies played Wednesday's game with a Taney jersey hanging in their dugout.
