Jeb Stefan, Ramon Oviedo and Chris Burgess combined to throw a no-hitter on Thursday night for the Lakewood BlueClaws as the Phillies' Single A affiliate defeated the Rome Braves, 1-0.

Stefan, a Louisiana Tech product, received the starting nod and threw six innings of no-hit ball before Oviedo and Burgess combined to shut down the Braves in the game's final three frames. The save was just the second of the season for Burgess.

Entering Thursday, Stefan was 2-4 with a 4.17 ERA, but that mark dropped to 3.78 after his lights-out performance.

The BlueClaws' lone run came in the fourth inning, when Jonathan Roof scored on a sacrifice fly by Carlos Tocci after reaching on a double with one out.

With the win, Lakewood's record moved to 35-53 on the season.
