Domonic Brown is back in the Phillies' lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Washington Nationals.

Brown, who has been nursing an Achilles injury, hasn't started since Aug. 30. In that game, Brown went 0 for 3 with an RBI before leaving the Phils' 6-5 win over the Cubs in the sixth inning.

In 125 games this season, Brown is hitting .272 with 27 home runs and 81 RBIs. He replaces Freddy Galvis in left field on Sunday and has been placed in the cleanup spot in the batting order.

Roger Bernadina gets the start in center field, replacing Cesar Hernandez, and will leadoff for the Phils. Also back in the starting lineup is Erik Kratz, who will take over duties for Carlos Ruiz behind the plate.

Tyler Cloyd (2-4, 4.56) will be on the mound for the Phils. Cloyd, who is 0-2 with a 10.80 ERA in his last two starts, was tagged for seven runs and nine hits over four innings in his return to the majors Tuesday, an 8-2 loss to San Diego.

Cloyd will be opposed by Jordan Zimmermann (17-8, 3.36). Zimmermann is 2-1 with a 2.66 ERA in three matchups against the Phils this season.
