Freddy Galvis is not in the Phillies' starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Washington Nationals.

The 25-year-old has struggled at the plate over his last seven games, going just 4 for 29 (.137) with no RBIs. He does, however, have five runs scored and three walks during that stretch.

Cesar Hernandez will replace Galvis at shortstop and bat second against Nats right-hander Stephen Strasburg. Hernandez is batting .258 with seven RBIs and 14 walks in 37 games this season.

Cole Hamels gets the start for the Phils. He has a 1.69 ERA with 24 strikeouts, four walks and a .197 opponents' batting average in his last three starts.

For the Nats, Strasburg has posted a 5-0 record with a 1.02 ERA in his last nine starts against the Phils, dating back to 2013.

The Phillies are 3-5 against Washington this season.
