Ben Revere is back in the Phillies' starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Chicago Cubs.
Tony Gwynn Jr. started in center field in Friday's series-opening 2-1 loss to the Cubs (see game story). Revere entered the game as a pinch-hitter in the bottom of the sixth inning. He finished the game 0 for 2 with a strikeout.
The rest of the Phils' lineup remains the same.
David Buchanan, who has suffered three straight losses, will take the hill for the Phils. The young right-hander has allowed 15 runs and 23 hits in 18 2/3 innings since picking up his first big-league win on May 24.
Buchanan will be opposed by Edwin Jackson, who is 1-5 with a 5.60 ERA and 1.67 WHIP in six games against the Phils.
Jimmy Rollins, who is 7 for 13 with two home runs against Jackson, needs just one more knock to become the Phillies' new franchise leader in hits. The veteran shortstop tied Mike Schmidt on Friday with career hit No. 2,234 (see story).
