Tonight's lineup: Delmon Young serves as DH

Delmon Young will serve as the Phillies' designated hitter in Tuesday's series opener against the Minnesota Twins.

In four games as a DH for the Phils this season, Young has gone 4 for 14 with one home run.

John Mayberry will handle duties in right field and bat seventh. Mayberry has been solid in June, going 8 for 23 (.348) with two home runs and six RBIs in eight appearances (six starts).

Cole Hamels (2-9, 4.56) gets the start for the Phils. He will be opposed by P.J. Walters (2-1, 3.00).

In his only career start at Target Field, Hamels allowed seven runs (six earned) in six innings and was taken deep twice (see game notes).
