After sitting the last two games, Freddy Galvis is back in the starting lineup on Tuesday, batting eighth.

Galvis will play third, giving Cody Asche a night off after Asche's 1-for-5 performance last night in the Phillies' win over the Marlins.

Since returning from the minors at the start of September, Galvis has swung a hot bat, batting .371 with two home runs in 35 plate appearances.

Darin Ruf is back in right field after playing first last night. Kevin Frandsen fills in at first, batting seventh.

Roy Halladay takes the mound coming off a poor 4 1/3-inning outing last Thursday against the Padres. Since returning from injury, Halladay has a 5.04 ERA in four starts (see game notes).
