Tonight's lineup: Howard, Brown start after partial day off

After taking two of three games against at the Giants, the Phillies start a four-game series in Arizona tonight (see game notes).

Ryan Howard and Domonic Brown are back in the Phils' lineup after having part of Wednesday off.

Howard and Brown were slated for a day off on Wednesday against the Giants, but Charlie Manuel used both of them off the bench. They went a combined 0 for 3 with two strikeouts.

Chase Utley, who was in the cleanup spot Wednesday, is back to batting second. Howard will resume his role as the cleanup hitter.

The Phillies' lineup is charged with the task of hitting Patrick Corbin (4-0, 1.80), who will be taking the mound for the Diamondbacks.

Cole Hamels is the starting pitcher for the Phillies.
