Tonight's lineup: Kratz catches Martin's debut

Ethan Martin’s first major-league start will come with Erik Kratz behind the plate.

Kratz is in the lineup in place of Carlos Ruiz, who had started four straight games and five of six.

Catching a debuting pitcher is nothing new for Kratz, who wore the tools of ignorance for Jonathan Pettibone’s debut on April 22 and for Tyler Cloyd’s first start last September.

Cody Asche gets another start at third base and bats sixth. He’s 1 for 9 in three games but has struck out just once.

Michael Young is back at first base and Darin Ruf gets his sixth start of the year in left field.
