Tonight's lineup: Lefties look to pound Wheeler
May 29, 2014, 3:45 pm

A night after completing a thrilling series win with a walk-off bomb off the bat of Ryan Howard, the Phillies' lefties look for some success against Mets right-hander Zack Wheeler.

The Phils' lineup remains unchanged from Wednesday night. Six starters will bat left-handed against Wheeler, off whom lefties have hit .329 this season.

With Ben Revere and Ryan Howard heating up and Chase Utley remaining productive all season, the Phils could finally pick up some offensive momentum in this five-game series against the Mets. Wheeler is the first of four right-handers the Phils will face by Monday.

Revere is 10 for 23 since moving back to the leadoff spot and Howard has nine RBIs in his last two starts. Utley is one of just six players in baseball this season who has not gone hitless in back-to-back starts. The others are Yasiel Puig, Victor Martinez, Melky Cabrera, Justin Morneau and Matt Adams.

4) Ryan Howard, 1B
5) Marlon Byrd, RF
6) Dom Brown, LF
