With Carlos Ruiz (hamstring) headed for the DL and Ryan Howard day to day (see story), the Phillies’ lineup has a different look for Monday’s series opener in Miami. Freddy Galvis is back at third base, moving Michael Young to first, and Ben Revere is in the two-hole again. The changes come toward the bottom of the order.

For the first time this season, Delmon Young is starting but not batting fifth. He’s been moved down to sixth, with Domonic Brown protecting cleanup hitter Chase Utley.

Delmon Young looked great in his Phillies debut, homering in his first at-bat and getting on base three times, but in the 15 games since he’s hit .178 with a .509 OPS.

Galvis moves up a spot, to seventh. Erik Kratz does the catching and bats eighth.

Galvis seemingly does something well each time he gets a chance to play. He’s hitting .429 this month with a homer and two doubles, giving him extra-base hits on the season in 57 at-bats.

The Phils take on Marlins right-hander Alex Sanabia, who has a .316 opponents’ batting average and 1.76 WHIP. Current Phils are just 7 for 29 (.241) off him. Brown, Howard and John Mayberry have each homered off Sanabia.
