Tonight's lineup: Ryan Howard, Domonic Brown return

After sitting out two-straight games against left-handed pitchers, Ryan Howard returns to the Phillies' lineup on Monday night to face New York Mets right-hander Jacob deGrom.

The first basemen has had his playing time against lefties limited by interim manager Pete Mackanin as of late and for good reason, as he's batting only .135 against lefties this season. He's had much more success against righties this season (batting .267), but he's struggled against deGrom in his career (2 for 12, .167).

Domonic Brown also finds himself back in the lineup on Monday playing right field after sitting out the last two games vs. the Marlins.

Cody Asche is back in left field, replacing recent call-up Aaron Altherr, who played the final two games of the Miami series and hit the go-ahead home run during Saturday's come-from-behind victory.

Here's the Phils' full lineup:

1. Cesar Hernandez, 2B
2. Freddy Galvis, SS
3. Odubel Herrera, CF
4. Ryan Howard, 1B
5. Andres Blanco, 3B
6. Cody Asche, LF
7. Domonic Brown, RF
8. Cameron Rupp, C
9. Adam Morgan, P
