The Phillies' lineup has a familiar look Friday night, with everyone exactly where they were for Wednesday's 3-0 win in Miami.
Jimmy Rollins, who has raised his batting average 30 points in his last 13 games, leads off. Ben Revere, hitting .370 in May, bats second against Jordan Zimmermann (7-2, 1.62).
Delmon Young and Domonic Brown will need to be more consistent at the plate with Chase Utley and Carlos Ruiz on the DL. Young went 4-for-8 on Tuesday and Wednesday with two homers, a double, and a rally-starting infield single.
Brown has four extra-base hits in his last five games, and is slugging .517 in May, the best month of his career from a power standpoint.
Freddy Galvis starts his fifth straight game, batting seventh at second base.
Erik Kratz does the catching. He enters with a five-game hitting streak, and he's had exactly one hit in eight of his last nine games.
Kyle Kendrick is on the mound against a Nationals team that is second-to-last in the majors in batting average, on-base percentage and OPS. The Nats have also struck out more than every NL team except the Braves.
