The Phillies missed Stephen Strasburg on Friday, but they won't be so lucky Saturday, when Cole Hamels (7-13, 3.45) opposes Gio Gonzalez (10-6, 3.31).

Against the left-handed National, Ryne Sandberg will employ a lineup of three right-handers and three switch-hitters. Domonic Brown, who pinch hit Friday night, is not in tonight's starting nine.

John Mayberry, who will bat eighth and start in right field, is supposed to be a good platoon against southpaws, but he's hitting just .226 against them this year (and .227 against righties).

But as Mayberry has failed, Cody Asche has succeeded against lefties. The left-handed swinging third baseman has hit .269 against same-handed pitching, albeit in a small sample size (7 for 26). He's batted .258 against righties.

Here's the full lineup:

1) Cesar Hernandez, CF
2) Jimmy Rollins, SS
3) Chase Utley, 2B
4) Carlos Ruiz, C
5) Darin Ruf, 1B
6) Cody Asche, 3B
7) Freddy Galvis, LF
8) John Mayberry Jr., RF
9) Cole Hamels, P
