New Phillies manager Ryne Sandberg is shaking things up for Saturday night's game vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Chase Utley, Cody Asche and Carlos Ruiz are not in the Phillies' starting lineup against Dodgers left-hander Clayton Kershaw.

Kevin Frandsen will take over at second base and Erik Kratz will replace Ruiz behind the plate.

With Asche out of the lineup, Michael Young moves back over to the hot corner, where he has played 93 games this season, and John Mayberry gets the start at first base.

Newly-acquired outfielder Caspar Wells will make his second start in a Phillies uniform. Wells, who will play center field and bat sixth, is 0 for 6 at the plate in four games since joining the Phils.

The Phils hand the ball off to starter Kyle Kendrick (10-9, 4.48), who has an 8.63 ERA in his last five starts. The right-hander is 5-5 with a 7.36 ERA in 11 career appearances against the Dodgers.

Kershaw, who is winless in his career against the Phils, will be on the mound for Los Angeles. He is 6-2 with a 1.57 ERA in his last nine starts.
