On Tuesday at Citi Field, Ruben Amaro Jr. apologized to Phillies fans for comments he made Monday and also explained his prospect plan.
The Phillies surged ahead of the Mets in the eighth inning only to eventually suffer a 5-4 loss in 10 innings at Citi Field on Tuesday night.
Ruben Amaro Jr. was apologetic on Tuesday, and also confessional, saying perhaps the Phillies waited too long to start their rebuild.
