Coming Soon to a Citizens Bank Park Near You: Federal Donuts

As if you needed any more options to raise your cholesterol while
taking in a Phillies game. Those planning trips to Citizens Bank Park will have
a new hometown flavor to choose from at the concession stands: Federal
Donuts.

The Passyunk Post reports (via Foobooz) that Federal Donuts
will have a stand at the Alley Grill in the left field plaza once CBP reopens
for business this spring. They’ll be serving their famous fried chicken and
donuts, arguably a more winning combination than Cole Hamels and Roy Halladay.

The Post already made the obligatory Delmon Young-weight
clause joke. Guess it’s a good thing Ruben Amaro Jr. wants him in right field.
