What do you do if you’re a big-league ball player with time to kill in a cool city? Apparently, you go on a tour of the local professional sports' franchises.
Over the weekend, Detroit Tigers third baseman Miguel Cabrera made a pit stop inside the Flyers dressing room at the Wells Fargo Center where he snapped a photo with Jake Voracek. Well, the 2012 American League Triple Crown Winner was still making the rounds in Philadelphia on Tuesday, this time popping up at Eagles practice.
Here’s Cabrera teaching Birds long snapper Jon Dorenbos proper hitting techniques, or maybe the other way around. I’m not sure, but it’s kind of hard to believe the guy on the left is probably the best hitter in baseball.

Unfortunately, the three-time batting champion is not touring Philly because he’s considering joining the Phillies now that free agency is underway in Major League Baseball. Cabrera is locked into a contract with the Tigers, but was in town to have surgery performed and apparently stuck around for the first leg of the recovery.
Thanks for visiting, Miguel. Now stop teasing us.
