I know you're all recovering from the news that Kevin Frandsen is no longer in the Phillies organization while also dealing with the reality that Bobby Abreu still has a decent shot at making the opening day roster when the team flies north later this week, but here's a little ray of sunshine from Florida last night: Ryan Howard and Marlon Byrd hit back-to-back jacks.
The Phils took on the Yankees on Tuesday night and won the Grapefruit League contest 6-0. Jeff Manship is your new shirsey candidate this season.
While some scouts have said Ryan Howard has looked lost at the plate this spring, he certainly connected for a bomb on this swing:
