The Phillies played their 20,000th game in franchise history on Thursday night in Toronto while the city of Philadelphia focused on Chip Kelly's penchant for speedy guys with long arms.

Naturally, the Phillies lost the game. So let's not think about those 20,000 games and all of those losing seasons. That's in the past. Just like the four-game sweep at the hands of the Blue Jays.

“We didn’t play solid baseball,” second baseman Chase Utley said. “We made some mistakes in the field. At this point, we’ve got to put this game behind us and start fresh tomorrow.”

On to the next 20,000 games.
