As if getting pounded by the lowly Miami Marlins wasn't tough enough to swallow, now we learn that Carlos Ruiz will hit the disabled list after coming up lame in a game over the weekend against the Reds. It's a Grade 2 strained right hamstring for Chooch and the team has brought up Humberto Quintero to fill the catching void.
Technically, Quintero replaced Mike Adams roster spot when he hit the DL while tonight's starter, Tyler Cloyd, takes Chooch's spot.
Todd Zolecki is saying Chooch could be sidelined for 3-4 weeks.
